Dominial, Costa Rica

It's the end of another lovely week off...... Vacations make it harder to work, I think.  I only have one more until the end of the year, a long weekend in May.  LUCKILY, my friend Jeremiah is coming to visit.  I was beginning to feel lonely here so I am glad he's visiting.  

As for Costa Rica:  It was an interesting trip for me.  It was the first time I've really traveled by myself, at least for part f it.  I flew to San Jose alone and then took a 4 hour bus ride from San Jose to San Isidro, alone.  And then I took another bus from San Isidro to Dominical for an hour.  It was a long day and I was nervous, but I made it.  So add it to the list of things I have accomplished since I moved here; traveling alone.  

Dominical was a strange little town full of lots of gringos that are "passing through" for a few months at a time..... all surfing and kind of working.  It was a good experience for me to see that although I have a plan for my life and know what I want to happen that not everyone does.  Lots of people drift, change their mind, never make up their mind at all, or just get by...... and that's ok.  My life is not the life for everyone.  I am learning that.  It's good.

A little piece of Heaven....

The island is amazing, still.  There was lots of basking in the sun, swimming in crystal blue waters, riding boats, and eating fantastic food.....

Some days I don't feel like I deserve this life.....  and then I have to go to work and I remember.  :)
